Salary: £27,0000 – £30,000

This is an exciting opportunity to join my client, an innovative, sustainably minded Multidisciplinary Consultancy, currently in the process of establishing themselves as an industry-leading team of design professionals in the Water and wider Civil Engineering sectors. They are actively seeking a capable, determined Graduate Civil Engineer with a particular interest in drainage and non-infrastructure design. You will work alongside a newly established team of design engineers, based in the iconic, vibrant Capital City of London.

Responsibilities for the role of Graduate Civil Engineer include:

• Delivering an array of projects and developments across the residential, commercial, and industrial landscapes
• Liaising with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectors
• Preparing technical documents, including reports and calculations
• Attending site visits

Required skills and experience for the role of Graduate Civil Engineer include:

• A UK Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering
• A keen interest in working with water-based, non-infrastructure projects (such as reservoirs, water treatment plants, pumping stations, etc.)
• Good knowledge of drainage systems and strategies
• Proficient with various design software packages (including Revit, AutoCAD, etc.)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable skills and experience for the role of Graduate Civil Engineer include:

• A UK Master’s Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering, or a similar, relevant discipline
• A commitment to attaining Chartered Status
• Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
• Experience of working in a design-based role, within a UK-based consultancy setting
• Some experience of preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Sustainable Drainage Design (SuDS)
