SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER

New year, new job. Are you a Senior Civil Engineer based in or around Basingstoke looking to take technical ownership and lead high-quality infrastructure projects? This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer ready to manage projects, mentor others and progress within a respected multidisciplinary consultancy.

You will be joining a well-established consultancy anchored in the Basingstoke office, working closely with a collaborative regional team while contributing to projects across the South East and further afield. The work spans highways, drainage and development infrastructure, supporting clients wherever their projects are located, while remaining rooted in a strong local base.

The role

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will take responsibility for the technical and commercial delivery of multiple projects.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing and delivering civil engineering projects to programme and budget
* Leading detailed highways, drainage and infrastructure designs using 3D software
* Ensuring designs comply with current standards, legislation and client requirements
* Liaising with clients, contractors and internal teams throughout project stages
* Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
* Supporting bids, proposals and business development with technical input

About you

This role suits a confident Senior Civil Engineer ready to lead.

You will ideally have:

* A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Strong experience in highways, drainage or infrastructure design
* Competence using Civil 3D or similar design tools
* Proven project management capability from concept to completion
* Strong communication and leadership skills
