Overview
TRC is seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist/Engineer/Geologist/Project Manager to support our engineering practice in New York City.
The position requires a strong technical background in environmental and remediation engineering design, construction and operation, and a solid reputation of building and maintaining key client relationships.
Responsibilities
Lead and perform remediation system design work.
Develop and track multiple project budgets, scopes and schedules for regulatory submittals and other consulting documents.
Work well with dynamic project teams.
Perform Quality Analysis/Quality Control of deliverables related to projects and tasks managed, as well as projects and tasks managed by others, and are responsible for implementation of the firms' quality procedures at project and task levels.
Prepare and review technical documents, reports and engineering designs, ensuring quality and consistent delivery of materials.
Develop a rapport and positive relationship with our clients and employees.
Prioritize health and safety.
Maintain a billable hour utilization target.
Work to cross-sell TRC services and increase business.
Identify and develop new business opportunities, and deliver responsive, high-quality services.
Have strong communications skills, both written and oral.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology or related field of study.
10-15 years' experience with remediation engineering/consulting firms.
Remediation system design, construction oversight and operation and maintenance experience.
Skills in budgeting, scheduling, procurement and coordination of teams of contractors.
Technical project expertise in environmental investigations, remediation, environmental compliance.
Experience preparing and reviewing technical documents, reports and engineering designs, ensuring quality and consistent delivery of materials
In-field experience performing remediation work.
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, including current annual refresher

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range
USD $114,712.00 - USD $153,026.00 /Yr.
