This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a successful, growing and friendly consultancy in Truro.

With opportunities at all levels throughout their engineering team, we would welcome discussions with passionate and motivated structural engineers at all levels.

About the company-

Based in Truro, our client operates throughout Devon and Cornwall, offering a full range of Structural, Civil Engineering and Party Wall services. Currently they work mostly in the residential and commercial sectors on a wide spectrum of projects that range in size from small domestic alterations up to large multi-million-pound projects in interesting locations.

What are we looking for?

• 4 years or more experience post-graduate experience as an engineer.
• You must hold a suitable engineering degree MEng/BEng in engineering and ideally working towards chartership with the Instructed.
• Proven technical knowledge and experience of delivering projects from concept design all the way through to tender stage.
• Excellent knowledge of standard engineering practices, techniques, procedures, and Structural principles.
• Based in or can travel to Truro, Cornwall.

In order to be considered for this Senior Structural Engineer role you will.

• Current experience of leading and managing engineering projects as the principal point of contact.
• Confident in managing a team and willing to delegate and verify technical delivery as necessary to deliver the appropriate level of technical information per stage in line with project scope requirements.
• Candidates should be a motivated and commercially aware individual as this opportunity commands over and above the norm of a Senior engineering position.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, analysis and technical design ability are essential and are considered key attributes for the role.
• Experience in delivering Party Wall Surveys is desirable but not essential.
