the Senior Structural Engineer will perform structural engineering calculations, modeling and analysis
Missions/Main Duties
• Perform structural engineering calculations, modeling and analysis.
• Lead a team of structural engineers;
• Solve problems of moderate to high level complexity in accordance with project requirements;
• Ensure safety, constructability and cost effectiveness of the design;
• Understand applicable codes and specifications;
• Coordinate with different disciplines such as Architectural and MEPF; and
• Report necessary information to immediate supervisor/manager
Profile/Skills
SKILLS:
• Knowledge of discipline local and international codes (NSCP, PD 1096, DPWH DGCS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, UBC, AASHTO, BS EN, etc.) or project specific standards, specifications, design criteria and construction methodology;
• Knowledgeable with MIDAS, ETABS, STAAD or equivalent structural software for analysis and design.
• Knowledgeable with SAFE or equivalent foundation design software.
• Knowledgeable with FEA and RAMCon or equivalent connection design software;
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or equivalent 3D viewer software;
• Advanced computer and software skills (structural analysis softwares and spreadsheets);
• Analytical and problem solving skills, and spatial ability; and
• Consistent initiative and leadership skills
