Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a skilled Civil or Environmental Engineer with a passion for Water Resources to join our Team in Sydney and help us deliver exciting and impactful projects. 

Your focus is on surface water within the environmental sector, delivering a broad range of water related projects across multiple industries, including natural resource management, water balance studies, environmental management plans, and environmental impact assessment.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

Leading water resource studies, including water balance, water quality, and management plans for infrastructure projects of varying scales, primarily across the built environment, energy and resource, and environmental sectors.

Conducting Environmental Impact Assessments, including evaluating potential environmental effects, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Managing multidisciplinary projects, maintaining strong client relationships, coordinating with stakeholders to deliver project outcomes 

Supporting the development of junior staff, providing guidance and feedback to help them develop their skills

Contributing to business development and writing proposals, identifying opportunities to secure new projects.

What you will bring to the team

Bachelor of Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.

Between 5 & 10 years of experience in a similar role in a consulting environment.

Strong understanding of the environmental issues with relation to the management of storm and surface water.

Strong skills in storm and surface water, including proficiency in GIS, MUSIC, rainfall-runoff models, GoldSIM, along with advanced analytical, coding, and excel skills.

Experience in delivering Environmental Impact Assessments along with a strong understanding of NSW & Australian legislation and demonstrable experience in NSW.

Strong client relationship skills and project management skills in water resources projects
