Context

We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a Project Management/Construction management scope for a Rail/Metro project in Mekkah, Saudi Arabia. 

Missions/Main Duties

Collaborate with project teams to define electrical requirements and develop innovative solutions.

Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.

Select appropriate electrical equipment and materials.

Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate electrical systems with overall project design.

Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems.

Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

Perform regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure the electrical systems meet the required specifications.

Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and contractors.

Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for electrical design options.

Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to stakeholders.

Profile/Skills

Bachelor's / Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in major infrastructure projects preferably in the railway industry for building technologies with emphasis on maintenance facilities as part of a supervision or design team.

Deep knowledge of electrical design principles and practices.

Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools.

Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Should have completed at least one design-build transit project within the last 10 years

Have work experience in Saudi Arabia or another GCC country

Experience in leading and coordinating project teams.

Hold a professional registration in engineering.
