As an Electrical Engineer for our team, you will prepare detailed electrical power systems design for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump station rehabilitation, and greenfield projects. You will work with project managers and design staff including electrical engineers, cost estimators, designers, drafters, and other engineering disciplines to provide quality work on schedule and within budget.

Here's what you'll need• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer status in Arizona, or ability to obtain one within a year.
• 7+ years working experience in an electrical engineering role.
• Experience in designing and delivering municipal water and wastewater treatment projects via different delivery methods, including design-bid-build, design-build, and other alternatives.
• Experience in phased project deliverables such as design reports, drawings and specifications for power distribution applications, including calculations, analyses, schematics and schedules.
• Experience in equipment sizing, grounding, relay coordination, designing low- and medium-voltage power distribution, lighting, emergency power systems, UPS, and battery systems.
• Strong understanding of NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 70E and NFPA 820.
• Strong commitment to quality of deliverables.
• Motivation and initiative, attention to detail, work productively without supervision, and ability to multitask on different project teams.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams across multiple office locations.
• Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management, mentor junior staff, and work and thrive in a team environment.
Ideally, you'll also have:
• Strong proficiency with using SKM PTW, ETAP and EasyPower for modeling electrical systems.
• Field investigation, construction site inspection and startup experience, including electrical system testing and commissioning experience.
• Knowledge of MS Office and Bluebeam Revu.
• Ability to travel to project sites and interact with clients.

The base salary range for this position is $100,300.00 to $175,600.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
