Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with experience in Water & Wastewater treatment or Network Infrastructure to join our team in Parramatta or Sydney CBD.

Bringing an appetite for building and maintaining strong client relationships and a passion for contributing to a high performing team, you will utilize your expertise to deliver complex and ambitious water & wastewater projects for our clients. 

Playing a lead role, you’ll have a balance of technical work, design management, project management, operational support, business development, client engagement and support the continued growth of our team’s capabilities through mentoring.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

Delivering various and significant NSW, Australian and international Water & Wastewater treatment and network projects by understanding clients’ needs

Using your technical, project management and client relationship skills for the delivery and technical guidance of proposals, investigations and technical design projects

Understanding client and project technical requirements, assisting to develop solutions, and preparation of technical reports, designs & specifications and presentations

Building and maintaining strong client relationships, including business development, and engagement throughout project delivery

What you will bring to the team:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, coupled with 5-10 years’ experience that includes water or wastewater treatment, or network infrastructure concept and detailed design

The ability to lead and/or work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team across the project lifecycle

Strong client relationship skills, project management skills, and experience in preparing winning proposals

Design or planning skills in water / wastewater treatment and network infrastructure, producing technical reports, developing engineering drawings, specifications and tender documentation

Experience with using civil design software and digital design workflows, with experience in plant hydraulics being highly desirable

Project management or design management experience, together with a willingness and ability to mentor and provide direction to junior staff
