The Printing and Airplay Partner Engineering Team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with networking protocol development experience to join the team responsible for Apple’s Air Print architecture.

Description

The Air Print engineering team is seeking a resourceful engineer with extensive experience in networking and C programming. You will help develop Air Print on existing and new network stacks for iOS, macOS, and Visions. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the Air Print implementation in areas from graphics to the user interface. Much of your daily work will be in C/Objective-C with opportunities to write new code in Swift. This role requires mature software engineering skills, an understanding of modern operating system architecture, and strong SW design fundamentals.

Minimum Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Strong experience in networking

Strong experience in C

Strong experience with macOS or iOS

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Swift

Interest in graphics

Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, with expertise in threading

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
