This position reports to:

Senior Engineering Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.

The work model for the role is:

onsite/hybrid

This role is contributing to the Smart Power, Electrification in Bielsko-Biala, Poland.

Your role and responsibilities:

Technical leadership of entrusted projects.

Projects coordination with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.

Direct contact with customers in order to realize current orders.

Preparation of electrical and mechanical documentations and bill of materials needed for low-voltage switchgears production.

Working with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.

Technical supervision over the production and assembly of low-voltage switchgears, coordination and leading of the final acceptance test with customer presence.

Timely and effective implementation of entrusted projects and tasks.

Creating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost.

Qualifications for the role:

Engineering degree in electrical/automation or similar field.

Experience in designing of electrical systems.

Good knowledge of electrical components.

Communicative knowledge of English and Polish in both oral and written form.

Knowledge of Creo, Eplan, Auto CAD programs will be additional asset.

Very good knowledge of computer skills (MS Office).

Ability to work in a group and with a wide range of co-workers.

The ability to work under time pressure.
