Boeing Brazil is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer, reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager working out of the Sao Jose Dos Campos office. The Systems Engineering team will work on Product Development in several different programs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead Systems Engineering activities to develop Aircraft Systems for several different program.
  • Conduct and perform Requirements Validation and Verification.
  • Apply systems engineering principles.
  • Testing Experience (Flight Test, Ground Tests, Test Procedures and Analysis, Configuration Control and Conformity)
  • Drive continual improvement in solutions sets to Development and Derivative Programs

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
  • Must have a degree in Engineering 
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language 
  • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Concelho Regional de Engen Haria e Agronomic - CREA)

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • Experience applying Systems Engineering principals and Systems Integration in the Aerospace industry
  • Model Based Systems Engineering and Model Based Engineering application and toolsets (such as MATLAB Simulink, SCADE, Cameo, Rhapsody, etc.)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • In depth experience in Systems development
  • Experience with ARP-4754 and ARP-4761
  • Regulatory/Certification Experience (FAA/EASA Interaction, Regulation Compliance, Certification Plan, Issue Papers/CRI, ETOPS)
  • Experience in technical leadership support

Additional Information: 

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil.  

Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil.
