What you will do

Volvo and Mack Trucks North America are looking for a dynamic Software Systems Verification Engineer to join our team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for someone who wants to be at the forefront of automotive innovation.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans for software systems integrated into commercial trucks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and compliance with industry standards.

Analyze and debug software issues, providing solutions to enhance performance and safety.

Conduct verification tests on class 8 commercial trucks, ensuring the latest technology and safety features are functioning optimally.

Document test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

Experience in embedded software testing, verification, and validation

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellente communication and teamwork abilities

Passion for cars and trucks, with a keen interest in the latest automotive technologies

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

3-5 years of related experience.

Proficiency in CAN/ISO protocols.

Knowledge of SAE Standards.

Must be able to qualify and maintain CDL. Existing CDL experience is preferred.
