Could you be the full-time Mechanical Lead Engineer in Crespin that we are looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and leverage your mechanical engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. You will work with dynamic and collaborative teams and contribute to shaping the future of mobility by developing innovative and sustainable mechanical integration solutions.

On a daily basis, you will work closely with various company teams (structural integrity team, structural design integration team, component operations team, subsystem development team, and many others), overseeing technical designs and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors. You will also play a key role in industrial integration reviews of trains and in supporting production.

You will be particularly involved in requirements management (from needs analysis to validation and certification), designing solutions for equipment integration, and documenting installation files, as well as supervising the design team and resolving technical problems.

  • We will be calling on you to:

  • Manage technical requirements and ensure their compliance with standards.

  • Develop design solutions for equipment integration in accordance with project inputs and business standards.

  • Oversee the design of installation elements and integration drawings.

  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure optimal integration of equipment.

  • Participate in industrial integration reviews of trains.

  • Manage corrective actions within your design scope during production and validation.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of performance in the area of ​​expertise.

  • Participate in defining the physical architecture of trains at different levels.


Your profile

  • Degree from a mechanical engineering school with a Master of Science.

  • Experience in mechanical engineering applied to railway products (minimum 5 years required).

  • Knowledge of space allocation modeling and mechanical installation integration design.

  • Familiarity with finite element calculations for equipment sizing and interfacing.

  • Skills in communication and interpersonal relationship management, including with third parties (clients).

  • Time management and reporting skills.

  • Sense of priorities and urgency.

  • Customer and product focus.

  • Structured and organized approach with practical capacity.
