Position Summary:

This position reports to the Engineering General Manager and manages the Maintenance Support

Engineering Staff. This group provides engineering support of maintenance and takes the lead in

resolving station equipment issues, and interfaces with fleet component engineering to resolve component

issues.

Responsibilities:

Provides leadership, direction, and oversight for the Maintenance Support Engineering Unit.

Balances multiple competing duties/assignments that vary on a daily basis to prioritize and drive issue resolution.

Coordinates troubleshooting in a broad range of situations, including unfamiliar tasks.

Works under short deadlines with stakeholders from multiple organizations.

Makes accurate risk-based decisions on prioritization of work.

Teams with offsite engineering subject matter experts to daily site support.

Provides technical oversight of engineering deliverables.

Basic/Required Qualification:

BS in Engineering or Related Science from an ABET Accredited University.

4 years of related experience which includes at least 1 year of nuclear power plant experience and 0.25 years on-site experience.

​Desired Qualifications:

Registered Professional Engineer

SRO or SRO Certification

2 years of nuclear power plant experience

1 year of supervisory or managerial experience

This position may be required to have Emergency Response Organization (ERO) responsibilities which

could include callouts with a defined response time to the site and an on-call duty rotation requiring the

employee to be Fit for Duty.
