Job Description
Perform standard manufacturing engineering assignments that represent a significant portion of larger projects. Select engineering techniques to solve problems and make recommendations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality and cost efficiency.
How will you do it?
Analyze specifications and evaluate manufacturing processes to establish feasibility and manufacturability.
Develop methods, tooling, and production controls for new products while supervising their assembly and proofing.
Monitor and drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at scrap reduction and optimizing production uptime.
Work closely with design and production teams to implement design for manufacturability (DFM) strategies.
Participate in project planning and execution, managing timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
Engage in root cause analysis and problem-solving to address manufacturing issues promptly.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
6 years suggested minimum experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
Proven hands-on experience in manufacturing methods and processes.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in problem-solving methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices
