Civil Engineer

Cardiff

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Benefits

We’re working with a successful civil and structural design consultancy in South Wales who are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to take on responsibility for a variety of drainage and infrastructure design projects, with the chance to liaise directly with clients and local authorities while developing your technical expertise.

The Role

Prepare detailed designs for private and adoptable drainage schemes

Produce S278, S38 and S104 designs for technical approval

Liaise with clients, council officers and design teams

Support Directors on project delivery and approvals

Gain additional training through project work and external courses

About You

Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng)

4-5 years’ experience in highways and drainage design

Proficient with AutoCAD, PDS (or Civils 3D) and Micro Drainage/Info Drainage

Strong numeracy, written and verbal communication skills

Competent in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

Creative, logical problem solver with attention to detail
