POSITION - CIVIL ENGINEER - LAND DEVELOPMENT (COMMERCIAL) PROJECTS
Arcadis is seeking a Project Civil Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team within the North America Places group. We are looking to grow our team of skilled multi-disciplinary engineers and engineering consultants throughout North America. This is a key location-based position.

Role description:
The Engineering Team at Arcadis is expanding, and the company has a new career opportunity for a Civil Engineer - Land Development (Commercial) for our Cincinnati, OH office
For this role, we are searching for a candidate that is comfortable working within a project team environment, which is focused on expanding our civil development project footprint within Ohio. Arcadis is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with their EIT who comfortable working on large complex civil development projects is such as hospitals, airports, residential neighborhoods, shopping complexes, educational campuses to mention a few!

Role accountabilities:
- Assist and participate in the execution of design tasks for civil infrastructure/site development projects, focusing on public and private sector developments
- Work directly with a project team to assist with the completion of construction documents and related activities
- Civil engineering design, including site layout, roadway layout, site grading and drainage, utility sizing and layout, storm water management design, including design of retention/detention facilities
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities and ensure effective communication and problem-solving
- Working with municipalities on permits
Qualifications & Experience:
- 4 or more years working on civil development projects for the private and/or public sector
- Detailed knowledge of relevant national standards and codes of practice
- BS in Civil Engineering, holds Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification, and is actively working towards Professional Engineer (PE) Certification
- Experience working with internal or external Teams as well as stakeholders
- Commitment to health and safety

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $68,187 - $112,509. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
