Your work environment at EXP

International engineering firm is currently searching for a Civil Intern for our Coral Gables, FL Municipal group to assist with civil design.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

Assist with report writing and setup

Development of plans and details utilizing CAD

Development of engineering calculations utilizing examples and guidance of senior engineers

Support senior and junior engineers with office-related tasks.

What your experience looks like

Experience with CIVIL3D and AutoCAD. Microstation experience a preference.

Experience with Microsoft Office

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Maturity and excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Current undergraduate student working towards a Bachelor of Science or Technical degree Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related curriculum

Previous civil engineering/construction experience desired, FDOT design and construction experience a plus

Must be flexible with schedule, allowing weekend work

Must be willing to work outside in good and inclement weather

Great organization and prioritization abilities

Good driving record and valid driver’s license
