The Opportunity
- Take ownership of design tasks.
- Support the delivery of work with geographically spread multi-discipline design teams.
- Prepare design calculations, reports, specifications, and drawings.
- Leverage new technologies to enhance and streamline design processes.
- Ensure successful project delivery while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Flexible and willing to travel for work within the UAE, the wider GCC region, and India.
- Conduct site visits and resolution of site queries.
- Liaison with suppliers and contractors.

Is this role right for you?
BEng/BSc in Civil Engineering or a BSc in Geological Sciences and preferably supplemented by an MSc in Engineering Geology/Geotechnical Engineering/Soil Mechanics or Structural Engineering.
Tunnelling design experience of minimum 5 years.
- Good knowledge of industry standard software for tunnelling (FLAC/3D, UDEC), geotechnical (PLAXIS/3D, RS2/3) and structural design (GSA, SAP2000).
- Good experience in numerical analysis.
- Strong engineering skills and knowledge.
- Passionate about implementing automation in design and delivery.
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) in English.
- Membership in the relevant professional body is required and chartered Engineer status is an advantage.
