Key Responsibilities

Drive the development of Technical Safety Concepts (TSCs).

Review Functional Safety Concepts (FSCs) and TSCs.

Perform and document safety analyses such as Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Dependent Failure Analysis (DFA), and ensure freedom from interference.

Develop and maintain safety products in alignment with ISO 26262 Part 6.

Support safety plan preparation.

Contribute to Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) in accordance with ISO 21434.

Qualifications:

M.Sc. or B.Tech in Electrical, Applied Physics, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in automotive software safety domain.

Solid understanding of ISO 26262.

Exposure to SOTIF concepts (relevant for autonomous solution development).

Strong knowledge of embedded systems (hardware/software), especially in ECU and ASIL-compliant development.

Experience in complete in-vehicle electrical system development.

Hands-on experience with safety analysis methods such as FMEA, FTA, and DFA.

Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and ISO 21434 is an advantage.

Experience in executing safety activities: hazard analysis, functional and technical safety concepts.

Proficient in system engineering, including safety requirement refinement and decomposition.

Strong cross-functional collaboration and teamwork skills.

Experience managing and collaborating with suppliers.

Ability to coach individuals, teams, and groups.
