Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Buildings Team in Wagga Wagga.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a valued member of GHD's global team within a well-established international consultancy, while playing a key role in supporting local projects and clients in the region. 

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

Structural design of buildings, along with inspections, assessments, and reporting.

Leveraging your skills across a balance of technical work, project management and client relationships.

Working collaboratively with architects, project managers, building services and civil engineers in multidisciplinary teams delivering iconic projects.

Project management and leading teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Working as part of a team on projects from conception, through to final design and construction surveillance.

Ongoing career development opportunities in a vibrant and collaborative workplace culture.

What you will bring to the team:

A relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.

Between 3 and 10 years’ industry experience as a Structural Engineer, with specific depth of experience in building design projects in a consulting environment.

Experience utilizing a broad range of skills across various types of buildings and materials.

Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is desirable.

Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards.
