Our Middle East operations have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join our Doha office in Qatar. To be successful, you must be a qualified Structural Engineer, with 5+ years of experience, a frequent user of FEM analysis software, and possess a solid understanding of current structural engineering technologies applied in the design and delivery of medium-to-large scale building projects.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate a strong grasp of structural mechanics, applying engineering principles to analyze and design safe, efficient structures.

Proficient in international design codes, including British Standards (BS), Eurocodes (EN), and American codes (ACI, ASCE, etc.), ensuring compliance across global projects.

Skilled in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), with hands-on experience using industry-standard software such as ETABS and SAFE for modeling and structural simulation.

Capable of producing comprehensive design documentation across all project phases—from concept design to Issue for Construction (IFC).

Proven track record in delivering medium-to-large scale building projects, meeting performance, safety, and timeline benchmarks.

Able to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive attitude toward learning and adopting new engineering tools and methodologies.

Experienced in interdisciplinary coordination, integrating structural designs with architectural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.

Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical concepts and collaborate with stakeholders.

Prior Middle East project experience is highly desirable, offering familiarity with regional standards and practices.

Registered or in the process of registration with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) in Qatar, demonstrating professional credibility and compliance with local regulations.
