This is an exciting software development position within the growing Space Security division within Mission Solutions! Join one of the Foxtrot Program Area's Software Development Teams.

We're seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our exciting development effort and contribute to the success of a very challenging and rewarding mission.

Development responsibilities include software design, code and unit test, investigation into ad-hoc issues, and the ability to analyze and resolve complex mission problems. Typical Agile Scrum responsibilities include participation in daily scrums, sprint/release planning, demos, and retrospectives.

Successful Applicants will:
- Have a commendable work ethic, good communication skills, a great attitude, be a results-oriented teammate, creative thinker, and problem-solver, and follow all ethical standards of the Lockheed Martin Corporation.
- Typically possess 2 years of professional experience having received a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education in lieu of degree
- Be willing to provide consent / submit for a Polygraph Examination associated with required security clearance listed in the Basic Qualifications.

- Ability to design software solutions to address complex problems
- Familiar with C, C++, or C#.

Security Clearance Requirements:
- Per the required clearance level, this position requires the selected employee to be a U.S. Citizen
- Applicants must possess at minimum a Current Top Secret security clearance with SCI Eligibility (adjudicated OR the ability to obtain SCI access) for consideration.
- Prior to starting employment, selected candidates will be required to possess Active Top Secret security clearance with adjudicated SCI Eligibility (TS/SCI), AND a favorably adjudicated Polygraph.
Desired Skills:
Proficiency within the following areas or technologies:
- Git and/or similar Version Control Systems (VCS)
- Jenkins and/or similar tools
- Knowledge/Degree in advanced mathematics

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:9x80 every other Friday off
