We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with experience in embedded system and embedded Linux runtime environment.

This role is based in Bangalore. But you’ll also get to visit other locations in India and globe, so you’ll need to go where this job takes you. In return, you’ll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries, and the shape of things to come.

We are looking for someone with B.Tech/MTech in Computer Science or related technical field with 1-2 years of experience.

Recent hands-on development and QA experience with key aspects of embedded Linux, including embedded hardware architectures, Linux kernel, and build environments.

We need someone who can work independently with a high degree of autonomy to develop and test software solutions.

We need someone with strong team teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively with partners and customers!

Willingness to travel occasionally to engage with community organizations, partners, and customers.

Responsible for leading a software test team or technology area to ensure the highest software quality standards.

Key Knowledge, Skills:

Develop and test embedded Linux kernel, kernel subsystems, and user-space applications.

Strong experience in Linux Shell, Python scripting, and C for writing automated test cases.

Hands-on experience with Debian and/or Yoto Project, Open Embedded based software development and testing.

Familiar with open-source test tools such as LTP, LAVA, Lingaro-Test, ptest, etc.
