Description


We are looking for a candidate who can work along side engineering teams to work on improving performance of Apple Services. As part as Services Performance, candidate will have exposure to learn about end to end flows including client and server interaction. This role requires candidate to work on multiple HW platforms like iPhone, AppleTV, HomePod, Mac and Watch. This will have a direct impact on how our customers use our products and services.

Description

This role requires candidate to be able to understand design of a service to eventually lead performance from a quality perspective.

- Design understanding

- Defining KPIs

- Writing key test scenarios

- Manage automation pipelines

- Monitor KPIs to flag concerns as necessary

This role requires extensive understanding automation:

Key aspect of this position is to improvise current design by providing technical inputs to engineering teams.

- In-dept analysis of scenarios and call flows

- Propose optimizations to improve user experience

- Propose relevant telemetry as needed

Minimum Qualifications

B.S in Computer science or electrical engineering

Proficient in automation with strong handle scripting languages like python, shell

Knowledge of Xcode and Splunk dashboard skills are a plus

Candidate must have experience in working in a team culture

Strong communication and soft skills are highly desirable for this role

Preferred Qualifications

M.S in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

Proficient is scripting languages like python, shell

Splunk Dashboards and knowledge of queries is preferred

Understanding of system components like CPU, Memory and impact on performance

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
