YOUR TASKS

The Allplan Development team is currently looking for a skilled C++ software developer to join us. Alternatively, a structural engineer with corresponding programming skills is welcome. You will develop software for structural and civil engineers. This comprises new applications and innovations as well as the maintenance and enhancement of current design products. You will be part of the international Structural Mechanics Team or Concrete Design Team consisting of professional engineers and software developers where you can apply your knowledge, enthusiasm for programming and craftsmanship.

Your main task will be:

development of design software for structural engineers

supporting a collaborative team with your superior software development skills

new developments based on client needs and market

maintenance and enhancement of existing products

algorithmic processing of mechanical formulas and design code regulations

work according to agile development principles, SCRUM methodology

utilization of AI Copilots

architecture design of new modules, cooperation on its proposal

close cooperation with analysts, testers and customer support

·         adjustments and changes in applications, refactoring

·         participation in knowledge sharing and continuous improvements

·         monitoring IT trends, innovation and new technologies

YOUR PROFILE

Your experience and technical know-how:

solid experience in programming and developing algorithms for engineering tasks

advanced knowledge in C++ and the language specific design-patterns

knowledge in MFC is helpful

experiences in Cloud development will proof helpful for future tasks

Top skills:

willingness to take on new tasks and challenges

strong analytical skills

mindset: creative thinking, problem-solving, desire to continuously improve skills

fluency in spoken and written English

optimistic team player

Advantageous experiences:

basic understanding of structural mechanics

some experience in C++/CLI and C#

Education:

university degree or equivalent education in software development
