The Role

We have an opportunity for a Senior Structural Project Engineer to join our Structural Practice, with a focus on complex structures such as stadiums, arenas, airports and long span roofs. Candidates for the position should have experience in developing, refine and validate structural models usings SAP2000 and/or ETABS.  Experience with structural steel design is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in the direction, coordination, planning, organization, integration, and completion of engineering projects within the area of assigned responsibility.

Perform linear and nonlinear static/dynamic analysis, including seismic and wind.

Collaborate with other structural engineers to optimize designs for performance, efficiency, and constructability.

Conduct parametric studies to assess structural behavior under various loading conditions.

Support junior engineers and provide guidance on best modeling practices.

Communicate with clients to understand project requirements.

Plan and formulate engineering programs and organize project staff according to project requirements.

Perform analysis and design of structural systems of buildings and materials using various building codes.

Direct project staff in preparing contract documents, such as drawings and specifications.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Master’s degree in structural engineering is preferred.

Prior experience in large-scale complex sports, aviation, or special structures projects.

Ability and willingness to travel within Vietnam.
