What you’ll do:
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions across energy, resource, and manufacturing projects. Collaborating closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams, you'll focus on the dairy industry, manufacturing and food & beverage sectors, supporting and expanding our pipeline with sustaining capital projects in New Zealand. You’ll also contribute to our growingdecarbonisation portfolio, strengthening client partnerships and driving growth with new manufacturing clients, in alignment with our Energy & Industrial plan. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Projects: Take charge of small to medium-sized projects, ensuring delivery meets client expectations and business objectives.

• Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including cost estimation and budgeting, design management and coordination, procurement and constructionmanagement, commissioning and handover.

• Inspire and guide: Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their growth and enabling the team to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

• Project Management: Proven track record as a project manager leading cross functional and multi-disciplinary teams. 

• Innovation and Research: Stay up to date with the latest advancements and integrate new innovations and best practices into project designs

What are we looking for from you?

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dairy, food or other clean-industry sectors or general manufacturing.

Alongside this, you will have the following: 

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering(Washington Accord).CPEng a positive

• Proven experience in a similar role with 7+ years’ experience post-graduation

• Design management experience including co-ordinating multi-disciplineprojects with a broadknowledge of other engineeringdisciples

• Demonstrated success in winning work

• Excellent project management and communication skills.

• Experience with hygienic and pressure piping design (including pipe stress analysis) is preferred but not essential
