Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our project team in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will lead and oversee construction supervision activities for complex structural projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the construction of structural elements on various projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety standards

  • Review and approve structural shop drawings, material submittals, and construction methodologies

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and quality

  • Identify and resolve structural engineering issues that arise during construction

  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success

  • Prepare and review technical reports, including structural calculations and analysis

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional development

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure project requirements are met

  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures for structural engineering activities

  • Stay updated on industry trends, innovative construction techniques, and local building regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Structural Engineering (master's degree preferred)

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on construction supervision

  • Advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices

  • Strong understanding of international and local building codes and standards

  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex structural projects
