What you’ll do

As a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Industrial (Oil & Gas) team based in Brisbane, you'll play a key role in delivering critical oil and gas projects through a long-term partnership with a major client, supporting the ongoing operation of vital gas field infrastructure.

You'll be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind. You will:

• Be a key point of contact with clients and internal stakeholders to discuss and assist with electrical works for a key client on a major oil and gas portfolio of works.
• Lead and supervise Electrical Engineering project teams and provide clear technical direction.
• Build strong relationships with clients and assist in driving opportunities to successful outcomes by providing clear, practical advice from concept through to implementation.
• Work with colleagues from other disciplines to resolve technical challenges and deliver complete multi-disciplinary projects.
• Manage, mentor and supervise a team of other engineers both locally and in remote locations.
• Manage project progress, expenditure, and performance outcomes
• Drive continuous improvement and support best-practice standards.

What you’ll bring

• Extensive experience in LV and HV electrical engineering with the proven ability to apply this technical knowledge to achieve project outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and leading teams with the ability to train, guide and support other engineers.
• Proven expertise in managing projects in alignment with client policies, standards and specifications.
• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
• The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions.
