Job Description:

Design and implement systems and services leveraging public clouds. Evaluate emerging technologies and provide strategic, innovative, and cost-effective engineering solutions to increase the efficiency, reliability and integration of company services and operations. Work completely autonomously as part of a team that performs rapid prototyping of emerging technologies to solve industry-related problems. Mentor and to help develop Junior engineers in his project. Build, design and implement scalable cloud-based services and applications for PaaS (Platform as a Service), IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) or SaaS (Software as a Service). Create robust production quality applications and develop prototypes quickly. Author documentation, reports, papers, articles, patents and presentations for purposes of training and knowledge sharing purposes. Ability to follow the general development practices and techniques such as unit testing, integration testing, security testing and code quality measurement. Review, mentor and coach, while defining and promoting usage of standards, best practices and lessons learned. Gathering insights from Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to help drive technology and product development. Maintain familiarity with emerging technologies. Works with end users, product analysts, and developers to understand features and technical implementations.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering, or a closely related STEM field, or a foreign educational equivalent. Must have 2 years of experience in job offered or any related engineering job titles. Applicants must possess at least 2 years of experience with the following: (1) microservices architecture, development, deployment, and testing; (2) Agile development practices; (3) cloud development using Azure; (4) container or virtualization technologies including Kubernetes; (5) Programming languages including Java and GO; (6) security concepts such as identity management, access management and injection attacks; and (7) RESTful API design and asynchronous and concurrent systems.
