This Senior Civil Engineer opportunity is with a leading consultancy in Bishops Stortford known for collaboration, sustainability and strong technical standards. The Senior Civil Engineer will join a well-established multidisciplinary team delivering highways, drainage and infrastructure schemes across the South East and beyond. Key responsibilities
* Lead the design and delivery of highways, drainage and infrastructure schemes
* Coordinate with clients, architects and multidisciplinary teams
* Produce detailed designs using Civil 3D and related 3D modelling tools
* Ensure compliance with design standards, planning requirements and CDM 2015
* Identify opportunities for sustainable design and value engineering
* Support bids, proposals and wider business development activity
* Mentor junior engineers and help maintain design quality

Candidate requirements
* Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Around 5 to 10 years of consultancy experience
* Strong Civil 3D and 3D modelling capability
* ICE membership, or clear progress toward it
* Strong communication and organisational skills

The Senior Civil Engineer role offers hybrid flexibility, varied project exposure, career progression and a salary of £50,000 – £65,000 plus benefits. This Senior Civil Engineer position will suit someone ready to lead, support others and make a visible impact.
