We're looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with 8+ years' experience, RPEQ accreditation, and a strong understanding of TMR design requirements to join our Transport team in Cairns.

What will you do?

As a key member of our Queensland Transport team, you'll play a leading role in the design and delivery of major road and infrastructure projects for TMR, government agencies, local councils and contractor partners. From concept through to detailed design, you’ll contribute to projects that support the sustainable growth of our region.

Your role will include:

Leading and supporting design delivery for road infrastructure projects, in line with TMR guidelines

Contributing to proposal preparation and supporting business development

Driving quality outcomes through technical review and mentoring junior team members

Ensuring effective verbal and written communication to enhance client experience and team collaboration

Helping shape the strategic direction of projects in partnership with internal and external stakeholders

What are we looking for?

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

8+ years’ experience in civil engineering with a focus on roads and highways

Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) – essential

Proven capability in TMR project delivery, from planning to detailed design

A collaborative mindset and a passion for solving complex infrastructure challenges

Experience leading design teams or mentoring others will be highly regarded
