This is a wonderful opportunity to join my client, an innovative, long-established multidisciplinary consultancy, offering bespoke design services for a diverse range of projects across the civil engineering, planning, and landscape architecture fields. My client is on the lookout for an experienced, dedicated Senior Civil Engineer, capable of leading a growing team across a range of residential, commercial, and retail projects, based near the unofficial capital of Yorkshire, Leeds.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:

• Work on a diverse range of projects, across the public and private sectors, including Local Authorities
• Complete, reviewing, and amending Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies with respect to a variety of projects
• Producing Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), Access Roads, Road Alignment, Highways, and Site Design, utilising the appropriate software packages (namely, AutoCAD and Civils 3D)
• Leading high-profile projects, from initial inception through to successful delivery
• Forging, maintaining, and managing client relations across the public and private sectors
• Liaising with clients to ascertain project budgets and realistic timescales
• Representing the company at design team meetings and site visits

Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:

• Hold a Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering (or similar, relevant background)
• Be a Chartered Civil Engineer, or actively working toward attaining Chartership Status
• Extensive relevant experience within a consultancy setting
• Experience in completing Site Design, Drainage Strategies, and Road Alignment for Planning Applications
• Extensive working knowledge of the relevant software packages, to include InfoDrainage and Civils 3D

Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:

• Live locally, already being familiar with the region
• Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
