As the frequency and intensity of floods, droughts and storms increases, the water industry must continue to build resiliency and lead from the front.

You’ll be able to apply our powerful global network of skills and decades of experience to create positive water outcomes that respect nature and nurture communities

Who are we looking for?

We’re seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (or at the Technical Director / Principal Engineer level) to join our Water Group, based in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, or Gold Coast. You’ll play a pivotal role in the technical delivery of water and wastewater system solutions, collaborating with passionate and high-performing teams.

Working with a flexible, welcoming and high-performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you:

Lead and contribute to the civil design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment plant civil works.

Prepare and review technical documentation across concept, preliminary, and detailed design phases.

Provide input across the full project lifecycle—from planning and feasibility to detailed design, construction and commissioning.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.

Engage with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Apply relevant design standards and use tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, 12d, and WSAA guidelines.

What you will bring to the team:

A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

RPEQ status or ability to obtain.

8+ years’ experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design, ideally within a consultancy environment.

Demonstrated experience delivering hydraulic and transient designs for treatment plants (water and wastewater) and linear infrastructure.

Strong technical and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and client-focused approach.
