JOB PURPOSE

Develops engineering to resolve complaints or product feedback related to manufacturing or no manufacturing processes to improve product quality and efficiency.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assess processes and products to solve and respond quality issues.
  2. Evaluate and implement solutions allowing an optimal Quality Assurance and Preventive Quality.
  3. Lead the corresponding core teams, to drive initiatives as result of customer complaints.
  4. Provide technical support for Quality Systems and solve quality issues, often implementing cost-saving measures and high-quality standards.
  5. Communicate with customer to provide or request information related to their complaints to retrieve the necessary details to resolve the issues effectively.
  6. Provide support Quality Sustaining Engineering activities when it is required.
  7. Drive statistical analysis and tools like DOE and Minitab to identify quality issues trends and improve processes.

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or similar career.

Knowledge and skills

  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrated through their ability to perform problem solving analysis.
  • Experience identifying root causes for quality issues and process improvements.
  • Advanced English level (verbal and writing).
  • Leading of multidisciplinary working groups
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting tools
  • Good personal relationships
  • Attention to details
  • Use of Microsoft Office, SAP knowledge

Experience 

  • 3+ years of experience in Medical Industry in similar positions.

Preferred:

  • Use of statistical and Quality tools, Problem-Solving, among others.
  • Certified on ISO 13485:2016 and/or 9001:2015 standards.
