Description
We are seeking a skilled IT Data Architect to design, implement, and manage data architectures that support our business objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data strategy, defining data standards, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing data storage solutions to enhance business intelligence, analytics, and overall data management strategies.
You will be responsible for:
Key responsibilities:
1. Data Architecture Design and Implementation:
Design and maintain data architectures that align with business goals and technology strategies.
Develop data models, databases, and data warehouses to support data analytics and business intelligence needs.
Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. Data Integration and Management:
Oversee data integration from multiple sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
Manage data pipelines and workflows for efficient data processing and storage.
Optimize data storage solutions for scalability and performance.
3. Standards and Governance:
Establish and enforce data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance frameworks and guidelines.
4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with business analysts, and other IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
5. Technology Evaluation and Adoption:
Evaluate and recommend data management tools, platforms, and technologies.
We are looking for you, if you:
Qualifications we seek:
Have bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology,
Data Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role in IT data management.
Extensive experience with data modeling, database design, and data integration.
Proficiency in database technologies (SQL).
Experience with data warehousing solutions (Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse,
Microsoft Fabric).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. Oracle cloud + Azure).
Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience with data security and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
Certification in data architecture or related fields is a plus.
