We, the BMW Group, offer you an exciting and challenging internship in the area of Agentic AI for Vehicle Development in Munich.

Join the BMW Group as an intern and shape the future of automotive innovation by developing a novel agent framework. This framework aims to revolutionize the creation of holistic vehicle concepts using artificial intelligence. This position offers you the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of AI development in the automotive sector and redefine how we conceptualize future vehicles.

What awaits you?

• Drive the conceptualization and implementation of an innovative Agentic AI framework aimed at automating the generation of holistic vehicle concepts.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate cutting-edge software components and libraries (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, flow-based systems) into the framework.
• Ensure the functional implementation and initial testing of the developed agent framework.
• Be an integral part of exploring and establishing advanced AI methods in the early stages of vehicle development.
• Collaborate closely with AI experts and vehicle engineers to push the boundaries of traditional concept development.
• Contribute your creative and innovative ideas to the project, gain invaluable experience, and contribute to the evolution of future vehicle projects.

What should you bring along?

• Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong practical programming skills, especially in Python.
• Solid understanding of, and ideally first practical experience with, concepts of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and especially Large Language Models (LLMs) or Agentic AI.
• Experience with relevant frameworks and libraries (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph) is a major plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and software development practices (e.g., Git, Docker) is advantageous.
• Analytical thinking skills and a structured approach to complex problem-solving.
• Excellent German or English language skills.
