The Opportunity

We would like to speak to professionals at all seniority levels, who have a background in Mechanical & Electrical engineering. Joining our teams in Ireland, you will work on challenging and rewarding projects that make a real difference.

As a Mechanical& Electrical Engineer at Arup, you will:

• Be responsible for the design of mechanical & electrical services for a variety of building types, including commercial, residential, healthcare, science and industry, technology and education.
• Use your technical expertise to develop innovative and sustainable design solutions.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and designers to deliver some of the most complex and high-quality projects, in Ireland and overseas.
• Manage projects and deliver on time and within budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:

• A passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive impact on the world.
• A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in the design of Building Services systems such as HVAC, pressure cascades, specialist gases,understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice, in Industry, Healthcare and/or Third Level Education.
• Ability to work in a BIM environment.
• Detailed knowledge of relevant industry codes of practice and standards.
• An ability to produce technical reports and commercial proposal for clients.
