We are seeking applications for the position of Energy systems specialist for Urban Transport Infrastructure Project.

Missions/Main Duties

Lead the feasibility assessment and integration of clean energy solutions for the ropeway system, including electric propulsion, renewable energy sources (hydroelectric and solar), battery storage, and regenerative braking technologies.

Conduct diagnostic studies to identify opportunities for energy efficiency and sustainability in the ropeway’s operations and infrastructure.

Design and recommend energy-efficient systems that ensure reliable power supply, optimal operational stability, and reduced environmental footprint.

Advise on the structural and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) integration for energy components, ensuring system safety, reliability, and compliance with project requirements.

Evaluate technical and financial viability of proposed energy solutions, factoring in local resource availability and long-term sustainability.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, and systems engineers) to achieve seamless integration of energy components throughout project planning and implementation.

Prepare and present detailed technical reports, system designs, and recommendations to project stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Ensure all energy system designs meet relevant local and international standards, and align with the project’s climate resilience and sustainability objectives.

Profile/Skills

Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline.

Minimum 10 years of experience in designing and implementing clean energy solutions for transport or large infrastructure projects.

Demonstrated expertise in electric propulsion systems, renewable energy (including hydroelectric and solar), battery storage, and regenerative braking technologies.

Strong background in energy systems diagnostics, system design, and sustainability assessments.

Experience with FEA/structural integration of power systems is highly desirable.

Familiarity with international best practices and standards for sustainable energy in public transport projects.

Proven report writing, analytical, and communication skills in English.
