Position Overview:
As an Electrical Mechanical Test Operator, you will work in a team-oriented environment on the next generation of rail vehicles. These vehicles are assembled and tested in Sacramento, CA, and are designed to connect cities across the United States. Your main responsibilities will include wiring harness testing, troubleshooting, and repair to ensure customer satisfaction and reliability.
What you will be doing:
- Perform electrical point-to-point wire checks on light rail, locomotive, and coaches
- Troubleshoot, document, and repair electrical and mechanical failures
- Work with innovative dialogistic test equipment.
- Understand and align with company and industry safety standards.
- Communicate with others, verbally and in writing, technical information, job procedure recommendations, and other work-related information.
- Able to work independently and among a team with multi-disciplinary backgrounds.
- Read, interpret, and understand written or electronic schematics.
- Installing and removing test equipment
What you will need to be successful:
- High school diploma (or GED)
- 1+ years’ experience in relevant field
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting

https://www.benefitsquickstart.com/siemens/index.html. The base salary range for this position in Sacramento, CA, is $44,300 - $59,800. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
