This is a standout opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy delivering highways, drainage and development infrastructure across Birmingham and the wider Midlands. The Civil Engineer will work within a strongly led team known for consistent, high-quality design and repeat business, offering clear progression and the chance to take real ownership of projects from day one.

As a Civil Engineer, you will support and lead the appraisal, planning and detailed design of residential, commercial and mixed use schemes. You will gain exposure to S38, S278 and S104 works, Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategies and levels design, while working closely with planners, architects and local authorities. This role suits a Civil Engineer with ambition, looking to grow technically and step toward senior responsibility in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities include producing highway and drainage designs, preparing technical reports and calculations, coordinating submissions for technical approval, and contributing to project management and quality assurance. The Civil Engineer will also mentor junior staff, communicate directly with clients and play a visible role in a collaborative Birmingham office.

Applicants should have UK consultancy experience, strong AutoCAD and Civils 3D or drainage software skills, and a proactive, organised approach. Experience in development infrastructure and adoption processes is highly valued.
