Job description

We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated and talented Senior Architectural Designer to join our expanding studio in Singapore. If you have an impressive design portfolio and are passionate about working on exciting international projects in a dynamic design led environment, we want to hear from you.

All candidates must have:

A degree in Architecture from an internationally recognised university;

Min. 5 years’ relevant postgraduate working experience, preferably with SEA project experience;

Previous experience in residential, mixed used and hospitality building design and construction is an advantage;

Strong 3D design concepts and visualisation skills;

Ability to develop design options in collaboration with the design team;

Sound knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop and 3D Max;

Proficiency in SketchUp and InDesign;

Excellent command of written and spoken English

Eligibility to work in Singapore highly preferred.

lO is a leading international Partnership of Architectural, Urban, Landscape, and Interior Designers and Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) specialists. They have spent the last two decades working in the emerging Asian and Middle Eastern markets and have established a reputation and brand name within the industry. The founding of lO was a result of the Partners’ aspiration to create multicultural projects with architectural, economic, environmental and social integrity.

Recent work which has been awarded from competition wins in China have included the Infinity Loop Bridge in Zhuhai; China-Taiwan Cross Strait Forum and CBD development in Pingtan Island; Cityplaza in Huizhou; 3 competition wins for Huafa in Jinwan: International Commerce Centre, Cultural Centre, and Industrial Service Centre. 

Current landmark projects include the Al Barari Seventh Heaven and Ashjar in Dubai, UAE; Dubai Hills Golf Villas, Dubai, UAE; Urban Regeneration in Turkey; Danzishi Central Business District in Chongqing, China; Huafa Kowloon Bay Mixed Use Development in Weihai, China.
