Stantec are seeking talented Structural Engineering Graduates to join our Community Development teams in Wollongong (NSW), Darwin (NT) and Albany WA).

  • Work on projects such as: Water Reticulation Network improvements for the Water Corporation, Sporting Precinct Infrastructure upgrades for the City of Albany, Road upgrade and renewal projects for the Shire of Denmark, Stormwater Drainage upgrade projects for the Shire of Jerramungup, Greenfields Land Development projects for various private clients, Infrastructure inspections for DBCA (WA Government) and Structural Inspections for Southern Ports.

What will you be doing day to day?

  • Coordinating structural design inputs into multidisciplinary projects including civil, electrical, mechanical and process disciplines.

  • Performing structural design calculation, modelling and design under the supervision of a senior or principal structural engineer.

  • Preparing and coordinating design deliverables including structural design drawings and specifications.

  • Lead and personally contribute to the continuous improvement and consistent application of agreed technical design standards and processes within the Section.

  • Engage in the development of design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats, and prepare and revise documentation in various structural phases including site plans, cross sections, diagrams, submittal reviews and response to information requests as required.

Qualifications

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering

  • Passion for learning and problem-solving

  • Australian Citizen, PR or NZ Citizen.

  • Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years post-graduation
