His Highness Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed al Nahyan today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Aston Martin CEO Dr Andy Palmer for a new Aston Martin showroom based in Etihad Towers.

Richard Foulds, Head of Property Management at Etihad Towers said “We are thrilled to be able to share this exciting news. Aston Martin opening in Abu Dhabi is good news for us all, and we are especially pleased to be hosting their beautiful new showroom here.”

Dr Andy Palmer, Aston Martin CEO said “We are very much looking forward to opening a showroom in Abu Dhabi. The UAE market is extremely important for a luxury automotive brand like Aston Martin and Etihad Towers is the perfect location.”

Neil Slade, General Manager Middle East and North Africa at Aston Martin, commented “Aston Martin is much more than a car, it is a lifestyle and Etihad Towers reflects that lifestyle. The new dealership will allow us to take excellent care of our Middle Eastern clients and further enhance their experience of Aston Martin.”

The event will also see the Abu Dhabi launch of the luxury car maker’s most intense and exhilarating track-only supercar to date, the Aston Martin Vulcan. Born out of extensive motorsport experience and using the brand’s flair for design and engineering ingenuity, the 800-plus bhp, all-carbon fibre Vulcan is the marques most intense and exhilarating creation to date.

The new supercar is strictly limited to just 24 examples worldwide and allows owners the opportunity to precisely tailor their track day experience through a graduating scale of detailed power and dynamic performance adjustments.

Dr Andy Palmer concluded: “Vulcan is not just a supercar, it represents 102 years of road and race experience and only 24 people in the world will be able to say they are part of this unique club.”
