Announced today, at the 5D Conference in Germany, BIMobject® Hercules provides a Cloud based content management solution to support digital construction. This solution has been developed as a PaaS (Platform as a Service) and includes all the major cloud applications (APPs) from BIMobject.

It is aimed at the larger contracting, construction, consultant and architectural companies so they can develop, manage, publish and control their own BIM content in a cloud based environment. With the Hercules solution BIMobject® provides the world's first cloud based, data management tool for Digital construction and thereby extends its lead as the technology leader within BIM objects.

This PaaS is an integrated part of the BIMobject.com Cloud and enables companies to self-manage an extensive range of BIM content including documentation, CAD files and BIM objects. Among its many benefits it enables companies to have a single source of truth, version handling, structured data, support for languages and various classification systems, and an easy and proven way to publish and syndicate objects and information to project specific user groups.

Hercules includes all the BIMobject Cloud Apps: Mosquito generates BIM objects; BOPC™ delivers huge flexibility in data management; BIManalytics™ provides detailed information on Cloud traffic; Project Clouds are secure, project based repositories; Product Administration enables companies to self-manage their content; and with integration into BIM systems including Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp and AutoCAD.

The platform is easy to use, extremely scalable and enables organizations to exercise complete control over their BIM objects including which users can access Project Clouds to use objects. Hercules users can upload their own BIM objects to multiple Project Clouds, attach different data sets to them and then deploy these into their organisation or design teams. Existing manufacturer specific objects, held on the BIMobject public cloud, are also available in Project Clouds making access very easy to this rich source of quality BIM objects.

The Hercules cloud is offered as a yearly subscription.

”With close to 100 000 users on our public cloud solution, we have proven technology that can be scaled beyond the needs of any individual organization. With the Hercules solution we again innovate beyond where BIM is today and we are the world's first cloud based, data management tool for Digital construction which includes all our popular Cloud Apps. Organizing data and information is the enabler for a structured and seamless information flow throughout the whole process.” said Stefan Larsson, CEO for BIMobject AB.
