In cooperation with the Civica housing association and KPC, C.F. Møller is developing 178 new student housing units at Odense's new harbor swimming baths.

The Civica housing association has contracted with KPC to construct the 178 student housing units designed by C.F. Møller. The construction project is located at the Stenfisker Quay in the Port of Odense, close to Odense's new harbour swimming baths, which will be part of the new Harbour Square as from the summer of 2016.

The housing units cover a total of around 8,000 m² and will be constructed as three building volumes from three to eight storeys, with special architectural features such as staggered bay windows, balconies and innovative layouts. The residential units will range from 38 to 50 m² in size, each with their own kitchenette, toilet and bathroom.

The project will now be subject to local planning by the municipality, and construction is expected to commence within the next year. The first two buildings will be ready for occupation in August 2017, while the third will follow in January 2018.

C.F. Møller has previously designed a large number of student housing complexes and is currently behind the new student housing, with 250 rooms, being constructed at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense. Together with Himmerland Housing Association, C.F. Møller has also recently been acclaimed for the student housing at Henius House in Aalborg, which has received the Danish construction "Oscar", Betonelementprisen (the Concrete Element Award) and the Utzon Statuette, and Aalborg Municipality's architecture award.
